Located on the South Beach of beautiful Bear Lake, Utah, the Bear Lake Beach Home commands a breathtaking view of the turquoise lake and direct access to the sandy beach and shallow waters for an ideal family beach vacation.

About us

Bear Lake is a natural freshwater lake about 109 square miles (280 km2) in size. The lake has been called the “Caribbean of the Rockies” for its unique turquoise-blue color, which is due to the reflection of calcium carbonate (limestone) deposits suspended in the lake.

The rental home sits on a large property, with plenty of parking, lawn, private beach, and large historic trees that provide afternoon shade. The large windows provide excellent views of the lake and of the beach, located just a few feet beyond the large lawn. Kids will enjoy countless hours playing on the sandy beach and shallow waters of Bear Lake. Boaters in your group can come and go easily from the shallow water, on your own private beach front. Picnic tables on the beach or lawn, provide the perfect setting for all meals, and the fire-pit will become and evening favorite for sharing the adventures of the day.

Groups of up to 20 guests will enjoy all Bear Lake as to offer, including excellent boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, and fishing right from the property. Very close access to multiple state boat launch ramps, larger public beaches like Rendezvous Beach, Bear Lake Golf Course, and the town of Lake Town.

Google Map

PLEASE BE AWARE: Some navigation programs will direct you to a location slightly north of the rental home on Cisco Road. It is best to use Google Maps provided here or follow these detailed directions below once you arrive in Laketown, Utah:

At the corner of UT HWY 30 and N. Main Street, you will see a Sinclair Gas Station. Turn off of HWY 30 onto N. Main Street heading North (directly towards Bear Lake.)
You will travel exactly 1.6 miles from that corner (Sinclair) to the Bear Lake Beach Home. Watch on your odometer.
As you travel North, N. Main Street will split and run both East and West along the Bear Lake shoreline.
You will turn to the Right and follow the lake shoreline to the East.
Watch for the sign that says Nelson’s Bear Lake Beach Home and for the large, paved circular driveway. Two homes are located on the property served by the same large driveway. The Bear Lake Beach Home is the smaller one located to the west (or left) of the very large home.
Remember, the rental home is only 1.6 Miles from the corner Sinclair station. If your navigation tells you to go further on Cisco Road, it is not correct.
